Exclusive to MetalCloak this tie rod comes with dual 1-ton forged and heat treated 1″ Dog-Leg Rod-Ends that have strength AND provides clearance for use with stock or aftermarket wheels – allows the best turning radius possible. MetalCloak dog-legged rod ends control tie rod flop providing better performance. Ends are sealed with grease boots to keep debris out and lubrication in. The adjustable tie rod can be adjusted while installed on the vehicle for fine tuning.
The heavy duty 3/16″ steel adjustable steering stabilizer mount bracket installs onto the tie-rod and re-positions the the stabilizer up and out of harms way; the mount is designed for aftermarket steering stabilizers.
The optional billet mount is a two piece aluminum design, is simple to install, and allows you to position the stabilizer for maximum performance. Finished in anodized black with a laser engraved “M” around the recessed bolt holes for a clean and custom look.
Note: Minimum 2″ lift required.
Note: The RockSport steering stabilizer kit works with Left Hand Drive applications only.
Note: Raised steering stabilizer requires at least 2” of bump stop to clear frame.
Note: If purchasing the billet tie rod mount MetalCloak highly recommends using anti-seize on all bolts.

Anti Flop Feature
This specially designed rod end has been engineered just for the JL Wrangler steering.
Full side to side range of motion ensures bind free steering when pushing the extremes of your Jeeps travel and articulation, while a limited “front to back” range of movement is built into the rod-end and eliminates the possibility of the offset to allow the tie-rod to “flop”.

The MetalCloak Billet Steering Stabilizer Tie Rod Mount is designed for the MetalCloak JK Wrangler, JL Wrangler & JT Gladiator Tie Rod. The billet clamp is fitted for 1.625″ outer diameter.

Steering Stabilizer Mount
The MetalCloak Steering Stabilizer, Axle Side Mount relocates the axle side of the steering stabilizer to better protect the steering stabilizer from debris by moving the stabilizer up and out of harms way from where the factory steering stabilizer is mounted. Simple to install using existing factory holes for a bolt on application. The steering stabilizer axle side mount requires a minimum 2″ lift.
